Recently, a delegation of customers from Mexico visited CAMC production base, visited the production line of new energy commercial vehicles, and carried out test drive of pure electric traction trucks on site, so as to have a deep understanding of the complete vehicle performance, manufacturing process and overseas supporting scheme of CAMC electric heavy truck. The customer team first visits the vehicle production workshop, parts inspection area and finished vehicle parking lot. In the exhibition area of the plant area, many CAMC electric tractors are neatly displayed, and the white pure electric tractor is particularly eye-catching. The body is marked with a total traction weight of 36570kg. The large-capacity battery pack is arranged on the side of the frame, which is suitable for heavy haul transportation scenes such as port, mining area and intercity logistics.
The customer carefully examined the vehicle structure, battery protection design and electric control system layout, and the field engineer explained the vehicle chassis adjustment, high voltage safety protection, thermal management system and other core technologies to the customer. Based on the local mountainous road conditions, high temperature climate and local regulatory requirements in Mexico, the technical team introduced the customized adjustment scheme of the vehicle, including battery temperature control upgrade, brake system reinforcement, vehicle electrical system adaptation, etc., to meet the use requirements of complex working conditions in Latin America.
At the end of the visit, the customer boards the CAMC electric tractor to carry out on-site test drive experience. During the test drive, the customer focuses on the starting power, steering control, brake response and interior quietness of the vehicle. Compared with traditional heavy fuel truck, the electric truck has large starting torque, smooth acceleration, no engine noise, and greatly reduces the fatigue of the driver during long-term operation.
During the test drive, the customer paid attention to the cab vision, rearview mirror layout and man-machine engineering design. The engineer synchronously explained the operation logic of the on-board instrument and energy recovery system, introduced the vehicle endurance performance, charging scheme and energy consumption management mode during fleet operation. When the test drive is completed, the customer has an in-depth communication with the technical team on the heavy load climbing capacity, battery life, maintenance system, etc.
At the end of the test drive, both parties enter the business conference room for in-depth negotiation. The customer introduced the status quo of logistics industry in Mexico, the local government continued to launch new energy vehicle support policies, and logistics enterprises gradually replaced traditional diesel heavy trucks, but there are high requirements on vehicle reliability, after-sales spare parts supply and local service network.
